Dhruva (Alpha Polaris) and the forbidden palace.
JC: Oriental philosophy holds within its veiled verses and
symbolism much of interest to the esoteric astrologer and philosopher. We see that the phonetic interpretation of the Sanskrit
Dzyan is clearly carried over and interpreted in Xanadu originating phonetically from "Dzenodoo". There is a clear referral
and meaning to Shamballa and the seven jewels within the Monadic centre of power or macrocosmically the seven head centres
of OAWNMBS.
This sacred centre can be identified in oriental terms as the
"inner city" otherwise known as the "forbidden city or palace" of 14th century Beijing. Oriental culture and symbolic representation
holds many secrets to ancient esoteric knowledge and teachings and clearly the forbidden palace is an earthly symbol, even
if distorted representation of Shamballa, which exists in ether of the second ether in the Gobi dessert. The word Ch'an derives
from Dzan and is the Chinese term for all schools of esoteric wisdom and teaching, the origin of which is Shamballa.
"Dan, now become in modern Chinese and Tibetan phonetics ch'an,
is the general term for the esoteric schools, and their literature. In the old books, the word Janna is defined as "to reform
one's self by meditation and knowledge," a second inner birth. Hence Dzan, Djan phonetically, the "Book of Dzyan." SD1 xx.
"Hence Dzan, Djan phonetically, the "Book of Dzyan." SD1 xx.
"Dzenodoo -- the "seven jewels." SD1 174.
"The common
English name, "the Forbidden City," is a translation of the Chinese name Zijin Cheng (Chinese: pinyin: ZÇjinchéng; literally
"Purple Forbidden City"). Another English name of similar origin is "Forbidden Palace". In the Manchu
language it is called Dabkuri dorgi hoton (Manchu),
which literally means the "Layered Inner City." Wiki.
Xanadu, also Zanadu, Shangdu, or Shang-tu (Chinese; pinyin:
Shàngdu) was the summer capital of Kublai Khan's Mongol Empire, which covered much of Asia and also encroached upon eastern
Europe. The city was located in what is now called Inner Mongolia, 275 km north of Beijing, about 28 km northwest of the modern
town of Duolun. The capital consisted of the square-shaped "Outer City" (2,200 metres square), "Inner City" (1,400 metres
square), and the palace, where Kublai Khan stayed in summer." Wikipedia.
JC: The word Dzyan or Dzen may be interpreted as the creative,
numerical, vibrational and cyclic force of the unmanifest logos or the sacred cipher 1. The correspondence to the first ray
of will and power and of Shamballa is obvious. ch'an, Djan, Dzan are clearly phonetically linked to Zijin Cheng just as Xanadu
corresponds, occultly, with Shàngdu ect. The Forbidden City or palace, the symbol of Shamballa, is aligned two degrees off
North/South and is said to be in directional alignment with the city and palace capital of Xanadu built by Kublai Khan of
the Mongol empire.
This city stands "four square" with an inner square and palace.
These palaces lay within outer and inner squares, surrounded with layered buildings having "three halls" of harmony and ornamented
gardens, forbidden to the masses, and representing on the earthly plane the glory and beauty of "the sacred halls of the City
of the White Island".
Within the city and upon the palatial throne presides the "King"
of an earthly representation such as Kublai Khan, or the emperor of the
Chinese imperial palace of the
Yuan and mid-Ming dynasties. Needless to remark that there is only one true King, he being the eternal youth of endless summers,
Sanat Kumara.
The design of the Forbidden City in every detail was planned
to reflect
philosophical and
religious principles and to
symbolize and represent Imperial power. It stands as a beautiful if imperfect corruption of the perfection of heaven or Shamballa,
much as a mandala represents, though on a much greater and even practical or beautiful scale.
"The best known form of the Kalachakra mandala is the sand
mandala, for which colored sand grains are painstakingly placed. This sand drawing represents a 3-dimensional palace of which
every single detail has a symbolic meaning. A mandala is a symbolic representation of many aspects of a specific tantra. In
the Kalachakra tantra, all elements of the mandala refer to the universe (outer Kalachakra), the body and mind (inner Kalachakra)
and the practice (initiation, generation and completion stages).
Every detail of the mandala, from each deity to every adornments
of the building, refers to time and the universe (Outer Kalachakra), physical and mental aspects of Kalachakra and ourselves
(Inner Kalachakra) The Kalachakra Mandala is like a huge palace, with 5 distinct
floor levels." www.
JC: HPB states that "Voice in the Silence" originates from
The Book of Golden Precepts, which in turn originates from the Book of Dzyan. She offers `Wouldst thou become a Yogi of "Time's
Circle". `Time's circle' or the `wheel of time' and "time-cycles" is the transliteration of kâlachakra. The Kâlachakra mandala,
on an earthly level symbolically represents a huge palace of five or so levels or many dimensions and directions.
Times circle and the "wheel within the wheel" are synonymous,
as understood by the esoteric astrologer. The sacred isle of Shamballa is the physical manifestation and dwelling of our third
ray logos Sanat kumara, and anchors first ray energy contacted via the solar logos and the little bear or shepherd. This lesser
constellation contacts and distributes the seven rays emanating from the seven rishis of the great bear or Ursa Major which
forms the "seven jewels" or head centres of the OAWNMBS.
These leading seven stars of the seven solar systems transmit
ray energies via the seven stars of Ursa Minor the leading one of which is named Polaris, the North Star, or the constellation
of the little shepherd, as far as humanity is concerned. Humanity receives the higher inspiration and aspect of the rays as
knowledge, wisdom and meditative inspiration recorded as the creative force of Dzyan. Wisdom is represented in the many esoteric
schools of Dan, Dzan or Chan. These schools will ultimately be accorded to each of the seven rays and will anchor specific
ray energy for distribution, use and occult investigative exploration of the WAY of AUM, which was known in the previous race
as the TAO.
Polaris is understood as the abode or dwelling of the "Celestial
Emperor" or ray logi reflected in the earthly King or Emperor in the city four square of Xanadu and the Chinese Ming Forbidden
Palace, literally representing as the white island of Shamballa. The "Purple" star or emperor is Ziwei of Chinese astrology
and astronomy, or Polaris and reflects itself in the Purple Forbidden City. The family of Polaris or the celestial emperor
are the remaining six stars and logi of the lesser bear. Such is the knowledge of the wise oriental mind.
"The name "Zijin Cheng" is a name imbued with significance
on many levels. Zi, or "Purple", refers to the
North
Star, which in ancient China was called the Ziwei Star, and in traditional Chinese
astrology was the abode of the Celestial Emperor.
The surrounding celestial region, the Ziwei Enclosure (Chinese:; pinyin: ZÇweiyuán),
was the realm of the Celestial Emperor and his family. The Forbidden City, as the residence of the terrestrial emperor, was
its earthly counterpart." Wiki.
"The Zi Wei Dou Shu concept was devised by a
Taoist named Lu Chun Yang . It was then developed
by Chen Xi Yi during the Song Dynasty and later on Luo Hong Xian during the
Ming Dynasty to the present day format. Its exact origin, however, is still
debated among the different schools, and should not be taken as a guaranteed historical context.
Chinese Astrology
has always been closely intertwined with Astronomy. Gifted astronomer/astrologers
were recruited as officials to work in Imperial Courts during the dynastic eras.
In those days, astrological charts were delineated for the Emperor as his personal fate has a direct bearing on that of his kingdom. The court astrologers
played an important role in determining the successor to the throne also.
Astrologers observed the stars and noticed that among so many
stars, only one was seemingly stationary while the rest revolved around it. As it was also the brightest, the star was named
the "Emperor Star" - the celestial equivalent of the Emperor. Wikipedia.
In the Kabala (Siph. Dzen.) the creative Force. SD2 505.
JC: The 1 creates the 0 or circle which denotes the ten or
sacred master decad. All activity emerges from the "10", the "three" hidden becomes the "seven" manifest via the great ray
logis or breaths. Polaris is a first ray star governing Shamballa.
The North Star, also known as the Pole Star, is the prominent
star that lies closest in
the sky to the north celestial pole, and which appears (approximately) directly
overhead to an observer at the Earth's North Pole. The current North Star
is Polaris, which lies about two-thirds of a degree from the pole at the end
of the "handle" of the Little Dipper asterism in the constellation Ursa Minor. Polaris has a visual
magnitude of 1.97 (second magnitude). Wiki.
Polaris - The Star of Direction - governing Shamballa. EA 198.
JC: There is a correspondence between the "great reservoir
and focal point of divine energy" which is the 1st ray energy directed from Polaris the "hidden centre" of the "saving force"
and the purple emperor of Chinese astrology. These centres are within Shamballa. The ten Sacred Numbers of the Seven Rays
amount to the numerical value of 43, being the sacred square "4", and triangle "3", which equals 7 or 4+3 = 7, thus reducing
to the sacred and "key" number 7.
The sacred "Seven" is the causal action of the kâlachakra,
the seven planes of Initiation, the four occult fundamentals known today, the "new astrology" and the "keys" of the ancient
wisdom religion of "Dzyan" of "knowledge through meditation" the root of which is "7". Polaris focuses the sacred "1" or first
Red ray energy into Shamballa which is the earthly reflection and anchor point of the celestial emperor, the "purple star".
The closest naked-eye star to the Pole other than Polaris itself
is Lambda and is just under a degree from the true pole, as it lies between pole and Polaris. It is a swollen red giant. Lambda
is rated as a double star with a companion not seen for a century. This is also recorded as a brilliant red star. Therefore
in previous centuries the double companion pole stars would shine with quite a brilliant red or "purple" hue and together
with the true north or celestial star Polaris, we can see how the name "purple emperor" of "purple subtlety" was attributed
to them and to first ray energy. The following Taoist symbolism is highly pertinent.
"It is said "The Middle Heaven Great Emperor of the North Pole
Star of Purple Subtlety, as the Stellar Sovereign of the Purple Subtlety Constellation, is situated in Middle Heaven and is
the master of all the stars. The Great Heavenly Emperor of the Highest Palace of Polaris, which is composed of four stars
left of the Imperial Polar Constellation, is located at the Pole Star as the pivot of heaven" "The Great Jade Emperor is the
master of the ten thousand spirits… The Great Jade Emperor, subordinate only to the Three Pristine Ones, is in charge
of the Dao of heaven.
The Middle Heaven Great Emperor of the North Pole Star of Purple
Subtlety assists the Jade Emperor in administering the longitudes and latitudes of Heaven and Earth, the sun, the moon and
stars, as well as the climate of the four seasons. He is honored as the "master of all stars, assistant sovereign of the three
realms, correspondent with the Original Vital Breath and inferior only to Great Heaven."
The Great Heavenly Emperor of the Highest Palace of Polaris
is in charge of the Three Powers of Heaven, Earth
and Man, and of wars in the human world. As one of the Three Pristine Ones, the Primeval Lord of Heaven is one of the highest
divinities of Daoism. He was born from the Vital Breath of Spontaneity in the Anterior Supreme Non-Being." www.
"It is related to Polaris, the Pole Star (found in the Little
Bear) and it is also peculiarly susceptible to the influence of that Pointer in the Great Bear which is the nearest to the
Pole Star." EA 197.
"At the present time, Polaris is the pole star in the northern direction. Its mean position (taking account of
precession and proper motion)
will reach a maximum declination of +89°32'23", so 1657" or 0.4603° from the
celestial north pole, in February 2102. (Its current declination is +89°15'50.8".)
Its maximum apparent declination (taking account of nutation and aberration) will be +89°32'50.62", so 1629" or 0.4526° from the celestial north pole, on
24 March 2100.
The Forbidden City remains important in the civic scheme of
Beijing. The central north-south axis remains the central axis of Beijing. This axis extends to the south through Tiananmen
gate to Tiananmen Square,
the ceremonial centre of the People's Republic of China. To the north, it extends through the Bell
and Drum Towers to Yongdingmen. Interestingly, this
axis is not exactly aligned north-south, but is tilted by slightly more than two degrees. Researchers now believe that the
axis was designed in the Yuan Dynasty to be aligned with Xanadu, the other capital of the empire.
The Forbidden City: At the centre of the Inner Court is another
set of three halls ("L"). From the south, these are the Palace
of Heavenly Purity, Hall of Union, and the Palace of Earthly Tranquility. Religion was an important part of life for the imperial
court. In the Qing Dynasty, the Palace of Earthly Harmony became a place of Manchu Shamanist ceremony. At the same time, the
native Chinese Taoist religion
continued to have an important role throughout the Ming and Qing dynasties. There were two Taoist shrines, one in the imperial
garden and another in the central area of the Inner Court. Wikipedia.

Daoist temples often have a Hall of the Four Heavenly Ministers
